About Me

Education

I am a PhD Clinical Psychologist who earned a BS in Psychology and a BA in French from Tufts University in 1972 and a PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Rhode Island in 1980. I completed my internship in Clinical Psychology at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School (Rutgers Medical School).

Experience


I worked as a clinical psychologist in private and public mental health agencies in Massachusetts, Rhode Island and North Carolina. Since 1983 I worked in a private practice setting in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.


I retired from the practice of psychotherapy in December 2020.

Personal

On a personal note, I belong to St Paul's Episcopal Church and actively follow Buddhist teachings and practices.
